Many years ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to play football for the University of Florida. Go Gators! While I loved my time at UF, football left me with five surgeries and in a lot of pain.
Then I discovered yoga in LA, and everything changed. It allowed me to sweat without pain, becoming my new outlet. Despite my love for yoga, I faced two challenges:
1. I was losing muscle and wanted to feel strong.
2. The classes were too long—who has 90 minutes to spare?
So, I combined my athletic background with yoga, creating the TMAC 20 Workout.
This 20-minute bodyweight workout will push you to your limits, followed by a quick stretch and meditation—what I call "Getting My Mind Right Each Day."
Why is this important?
I believe there’s one key aspect of life we can control: our attitude. Each day, we have a choice. We can start by scrolling through social media or checking work emails, letting others dictate our mindset. Or, we can engage in an invigorating workout followed by meditation, reclaiming our mental state for the day.
