Kinda embarrassing, but this what I used to think. I assure you, this yoga challenge will fire up the athlete inside and help you improve your ability to play your sport. All you need is 20 minutes (beginner workout) to 40 minutes (advanced workout) each day.

What yoga means to Belden

“At first, I had a reductionistic view of yoga. I showed up for all the physical benefits and I continue to be thankful that those are a byproduct of my chosen occupation, however the work out truly became a work in.

On the surface, yoga enhances my overall strength, balance/coordination, and mobility. I appreciate feeling my core activate in high plank. I love how fresh and mobile my body feels when I go on a run after I take a yoga class. I enjoy challenging and interacting with my body in a new way every time I practice. I am thankful that yoga enables me to move oxygen more efficiently throughout my body. Yoga helps me sleep better, digest my food more efficiently, and reduces the physical stress I hold in my muscles.

"I wish I would have known about yoga when playing football at The University of Florida. It would have helped improve my flexibility, prevent injuries, and better manage the stress that comes with playing in The SEC and competing for championships.

I created this yoga challenge for two people:

1. The former athlete who still likes to train but knows they need to improve their flexibility and find a more joint-friendly way to work out as they age.

2. The current athlete who is always looking to improve in their sport. There are many yoga videos available, but very few are created by athletes for athletes. This is your opportunity to learn from me and Belden, who have been in your shoes and want to see you succeed on and off the field."

It's time to get your Mind Right.

This 15-day yoga challenge will not only improve your flexibility but also your mindset. As an athlete, mastering your mindset in the face of adversity is crucial. I call this 'getting my MIND RIGHT' each day. Once you understand that the mind is like any other muscle, you have to train it to grow. This gives you a competitive advantage on the field and helps you make better decisions off the field.

How does the challenge work?

For 15 days, you'll get a daily email with short and long yoga workout videos — you choose which level you want to do! You'll also receive a daily MIND RIGHT message.

DAILY EMAILS

Each day, you will receive two yoga videos: one less than 30 minutes and one greater than 30 minutes. You can choose based on how much time you have available that day.

 

 

YOGA VIDEOS

These yoga videos will challenge you mentally and physically, helping to build a strong core, improve your flexibility, and strengthen muscles often neglected in traditional weight training, thus helping to prevent injuries

Yes, we have an app and you can use it for the challenge, but you only get 7 free days. After which, you will have the opportunity to select a membership and will be billed for the membership you choose. You can download The TMAC FITNESS Home Workout App on your iPhone or Android smartphone.

The Yoga Challenge starts July 29.

This program is designed for the busy individual. If you have 20-40 minutes, you can get in your workout. Remember — no equipment needed.
